Home Learning

Dear Parents 

We want to assure you that the Reception staff will continue to be available at Reception@sir-francis-hill.lincs.sch.uk for you during normal school working hours, to assist with any home learning issues you may have. Please remember that you can contact any of us using the Teacher Contact Facility shown on the reception class screen. 

 

We have already sent home learning packs to get you and your children started, and will be adding suggested work ideas using this page regularly (if  your child is struggling with any part of the curriculum, please look at previous years home learning, as you may find alternate ideas for them to try).  

 

As an addition to these activities please make use of all our online learning platforms (Teach your monster to read and Abacus maths). If you have misplaced your child’s login for any of these sites or have difficulty accessing them, again please contact us using the Teacher Contact Facility.

 

This is new territory for all of us, but we shall try to support you and your child as much as we can so the disruption to their education is minimised. We cannot stress the importance of staying in touch with each other (friends) through any means possible, as this is so important to your children’s well being.

 

We look forward to seeing your child again in our Reception classes, once this worrying time is over.  We would love to see what you have been up to at home and in your garden, please send us a video, a photo or message on Tapestry.
