It has been a busy start to 2019 in Nursery.

We have been exploring all things cold, including what to wear in different weathers, cold colours, animals that live in cold places, what it's like to live in a very cold place, ice and of course...snow!

We have been very lucky that the weather has supported us in this topic!

ICE RESCUE!

Nursery had to come to the aid of some of their toys when they discovered that they had been frozen in blocks of ice. The children investigated different ways to free the toys including using warm water, putting the ice in a warm place, stirring the toys and giving the ice a bash with various tools.

Mission Accomplished!
