PE Info

At SFH, our two designated outdoor areas provide plenty of opportunity for physical activity and the development of important gross motor skills. Whether it's exploring the plane by climbing, balancing, sliding and jumping, riding the bikes, playing bat and ball or challenging friends to a race or obstacle course, the children in Reception at SFH are always on the go!

As well as daily physical play we have a weekly PE session where we learn and practise new skills.

We ask that children are provided with suitable clothing for these sessions, t-shirt, shorts and plimsolls. All items should be named and kept in school in a named PE bag.

To ensure safety we also ask that long hair is tied back and jewellery is not worn to school. Stud earrings should be removed or taped.

Grasshopper, Dragonfly and Ladybird classes have their timetabled PE session on a THURSDAY.
