Wednesday
Hello Nursery!
For our Literacy work today we want you to think about the Hare and the Tortoise story again.
Listen to Monday's version again, or find another version.
The children in school have been talking, drawing and writing about their favourite part of the story.
Which part do you like the best and why?
I like the part when Hare wakes up and realises he isn't the winner. It serves him right for being a bit of a show-off!
In Maths we are carrying on using those special words that tell us where something is.
Have a look on the challenge sheet below and try them out, or make up your own activity using the positional words on Monday's list.
I will be very impressed if you get the hang of beneath and above!
Our last activity is a lovely relaxing one! The weather isn't supposed to be very dry for the next couple of days so that's a good excuse to get some snacks and get comfy on the sofa and enjoy
this CBeebies version of The Tortoise and the Hare!
What is the same and what is different in this version of the story compared with the others that you have heard?
(If the link below doesn't work for you, go onto iPlayer and type it in the search box)
When you have watched the ballet, listen to Mr Bloom's facts about tortoises and hares. They are very interesting! Did you find out any of those facts on Monday?
I will pop some more activities on here on Friday. Have fun and don't forget to see what some of your friends have been doing in this week's galleries.
