We thought a really good book to read would be George’s Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl. It a really entertaining book and will link really well with our Potions topic. If you don’t have the book you can listen (and watch) Rik Mayell read the story on Jackanory Junior on the following link

Write your own food poem. It can be a limerick, haiku, acrostic or shape poem. It doesn’t need to rhyme. Maybe you could perform it to your family afterwards.
As part of your Potions topic we would like you to research a famous scientist. You could present your facts as a poster, leaflet or mind map. Here are a few suggestions to help you.
