Our topic this term is Will You Be My Friend?

Since lots of children will have been away from an educational setting for a long time do to the Covid situation, we will be spending the next few weeks focussing on how to make new friends, being kind to others and how our actions can have an impact on others. Below there are some ideas that you can do with your child to help develop this understanding.

• Ask your child to draw a picture of what makes them happy, now ask them to draw a picture of what makes them sad. Can they tell you why they make them happy or sad?
• What could we do to make other people happy?
• What makes a good friend?
• play the game 'how can you help friends'. Choose a scenario and talk it through with your child. Ask them what they could do to make their friend feel happy.
