Challenges for Friday 3rd July 2020 

Morning All! 

Thank you for all your hard work this week. We are so proud of our Reception families for really getting involved with all the challenges. It has been inspiring to see our classes trying their hardest at home and in school, as always. Big virtual hugs for everyone! 

Maths Challenge:  Start at 11 count on 6, start at 11 count backwards. Roll 2 dice, count from the first dice, count on the second amount. If you don’t have dice, make number cards, place face down. Turn two cards over, count from first card amount to second. If first card is 4 for example, turn over second card and count on from 4 to find total. 

English Challenge: Can you practise doing some water writing outside with a paintbrush and water, on to the pavement/concrete. You could practise writing your name, or sounds you remember. How quickly does the water dry? 

Topic Challenge: We are learning about exercise this week, but how else can we stay healthy? Eating healthy food is very important. Can you show your teachers how you eat healthy? You might draw a picture of a healthy meal. You could help make a healthy meal, or make a video talking about it!
