Managing my child's challenging behaviour

Two of the most important things to remember when dealing with a child's challenging behaviour, are:

1)Parenting is HARD!!  Anyone who says otherwise, is not being totally honest.  Don't be too hard on yourself and never be afraid to ask for help.

2)All behaviour is a form of communication.  It might not seem it at the time, and might just seem like they are acting out out or "being naughty", but there is always a reason. We just need to work out what it is.
