Our Revamped School Library
Our school library has recently undergone an exciting transformation, creating a brighter, more inviting space for all to enjoy. By removing the doors and taking down the large reading hut, we have opened up the area, making it more accessible and welcoming. Thanks to generous donations from parents and the successful fundraising efforts throughout the year, including proceeds from the Bonfire Night event and other extra activities, we have introduced colourful stools and comfy beanbags.
The library is a shared space, open to all members of our school community, and it has been wonderful to see both children and adults enjoying a quiet read during lunchtimes. Books are thoughtfully organised by genre, popular authors, and well-loved book series, with a dedicated non-fiction section arranged by subject. Every class has a protected weekly library session, giving pupils the opportunity to explore new books and develop their love of reading. With hundreds of new books added through fundraising, and more arriving regularly, our library continues to grow as a hub of literacy and learning for all.
